Before You Travel

Important Before You Fly

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

ALL foreign travelers entering Thailand must complete the TDAC 72 hours or 3 days before flight time.

Travelers from the Philippines must also complete the eTravel registration before departure.

What to Bring

  • Passport and travel ticket
  • Required travel documents
  • National costume for opening night
  • Power plug adapter (Thailand uses Types A, B, C)

Important Reminders

  • Inform your country point person in case of flight delays or cancellations
  • Airport transfers are provided from Bangkok airports to the hotel and back
  • Visa required for Nepal and Bangladesh citizens — apply at thaievisa.go.th
Airport Arrival

After landing at Suvarnabhumi (BKK) or Don Mueang (DMK) airport, follow these steps:

Arrival — Disembark from your flight and follow signs to the terminal.

Immigration — Present your passport, TDAC confirmation, and travel documents.

Luggage Retrieval — Collect your checked baggage at the designated carousel.

SIM Card / Money Exchange — Optional: purchase a local SIM or exchange currency at the airport. Better exchange rates available in Pattaya.

Exit — Proceed through customs and exit to the arrivals hall.

Go to Gate 4 — The designated meeting point is Gate 4 of the arrivals area.

Look for SESA Signages — Find the SESA Staff Conference welcome signs.

Meet DMEO Staff — Check in with the DMEO team who will guide you.

Go to Assigned Vehicle — Board the transport arranged for your group. Travel to Pattaya takes approximately 1.5–2 hours.

WiFi: Free WiFi is available at the airport.
Travel time to Pattaya: ~1.5 hours from BKK, ~2 hours from DMK.

Registration & Hotel Check-in

  • QR codes will be sent by May 20
  • Onsite registration starting May 25, 1:00 PM at Building B Lobby
  • Proceed to your country counter or special category counter
  • Receive your name tag and welcome bag
  • Families with kids: visit the KidsCon counter

Hotel Check-in

  • Normal check-in time: 2:00 PM
  • Early check-in may be available from 12:00 NN (subject to room availability)
  • Twin-sharing basis: 2 persons per room
  • All standard rooms have a king bed and a single bed
